Splish-Splash

Leyton received a very cool bath set for his birthday from Mimi Sharon and Pop so he HAD to take a bath to try out his new bath fizzes and shower gel. Even though Leyton less than loves bath time, he decided to take a bath at 7:30 am.

I left the bathroom to get a towel for Leyton and when I came back, Redding was in the bathtub with Leyton! Fully Dressed, still in his pajamas! I didn't even hear him slither his way past me and into the bathtub! He didn't even make a splash! Sneaky kid! Redding LOVES taking a bath, I don't know why I was surprised!

After I recovered from a slight panic attack and a myocardial infarction, it was funny.

Leyton, Richard, and Anna are the "3 Amigos". He talks about them nonstop.

Leyton wanted a "Thomas the Train" party this year. I find it difficult to accept that he is already wanting to make his own decisions about things. I really wanted him to have a "Cars" party (mostly because the party favors were much cuter and much more abundant) but try as I may, he was insistent on having Thomas. I guess I should get used to this...and be more respectful of his opinion. He is growing up after all.

Leyton had a great birthday! I can't believe he is already three! We didn't go too crazy with parties this year but Leyton still had his fair share of cake and other bad food items. I threw a party for him at school and we had a family get together at home. Also soon to come, a party with Mimi and Geep! Mmmm, more homemade cupcakes!
