A Slippery Situation

After lunch, I sent Redding to the bathroom to wash his hands and to wipe his face off. The boys have been fascinated with the new automatic soap dispenser and Redding decided to indulge his fascination by using over half of the bottle of soap.

At least the sink is super clean.

He does not look very sorry!

MONSTERS!

Since the boys are so obsessed with monsters (thanks to their undying love for Scooby Doo), I bought these very cute, Velcro monster puppets.

They have provided hours of entertainment...as well as many good scares.

Leyton's Lot

This is, maybe, one-tenth of his collection!
We spend hours playing on the porch.
He loves to have races and narrate like a NASCAR announcer.
This is his favorite right now!

I wonder how much his collection is worth?!

Bouncing Around the Room

GOAL!!

Yep, that's sweat! He played so hard!

We had a park play date schedule with a friend from Leyton's soccer team but our plans were wrecked by a torrential downpour!

We made the best of it and visited one of those bouncy-indoor playgrounds and needless to say, the boys loved it!

The Terrific Three

Enjoying a leisurely evening walk...

He didn't want a photo shoot. He wanted to look for bugs, or snakes, or something else gross.

Showing me the beetle he caught. I will never understand the fascination boys have with bugs

Disclaimer: No fish (or beetles) were harmed during this photo session.

We are so lucky to be within walking distance of beautiful lakes, parks, and running trails!

Soccer, Soccer, and More Soccer

Go Leyton!

I wonder what they are talking about...
He shoots...He scores!
Leyton has enjoyed the soccer season and he is really fast (I actually have to try to keep up with him when we race)!

Our team has shown so much improvement since the first game, probably because our coach is so awesome!

Flippin Out

Dennis is the boys favorite play buddy. When he goes out of town, the boys biggest complaint is "we don't have anyone to play with us" (Forget the play dates and the activities at the "Y" that they attend, or me, for that matter, nothing compares to Da.

And I don't blame them.

He is pretty fun!

AGAIN AGAIN AGAIN! FLIP ME!!!!!!!
