Leyton's First Golf Tournament

Leyton participated in his first golf tournament today.  

He did awesome!

Leyton was the only 6 year old so he had to play up an age group with the 8-10 year olds.

Who says it doesn't snow in the South?

The boys enjoyed the snow...even though it melted in about 30 minutes. 

 It wasn't  like a Connecticut snow, but I think that's a good thing.

So, I am way behind on posts but I will get caught up.

Golf Time

Did you really think the Thomas Family would go on vacation without some type of golf? 

The only picture I was able to get of Redding. 

He had a mini-meltdown because he wanted an ice cream/potato chips/junk food

from the driving range counter. 

He refused to participate in any further activities.

This driving range was featured in the movie "There's Something about Mary". 

So the owner told us.  A few times. 

I guess the boys got a little history lesson while we were away. 

A Rainy Day at the Beach

We did experience one bad weather day while at the beach. 

So, we headed to the indoor playground. 

As you can see, the boys had a blast. 

This slide was HUGE! 

The boys would fly out of the tunnel like a speeding bullet!

We made the best of our rainy beach day. 

Later that same day...

We spent Christmas day evening with our friends (and neighbors) Yogi, Gill, and Lilly.  Gill's sister, Karin, was in town from England so we had quite a fun bunch.  We brought along our vegan Christmas dishes and they provided us with many other yummy (and vegan, too) dishes.  Especially the brussels sprouts, they were phenomenal.  My vegan pumpkin pie, tofurkey, and broccoli "cheese" casserole were fabulous as well. 

A fun time was had by all.

Santa Visits!

The boys are obsessed with anything Cars. 

They are especially excited about getting new Cars 2 stuff to add to their collection.

He goes comatose when he turns it on. 

I am not sure if he remembers to blink. 

He is definitely on a time limit.  

He is quite good though.  He can beat me any day of the week!
