Chuck E Cheese, Take 2

Riding the GIANT Pinocchio Horse with Daddy Kissie Faces Galloping with Mimi
He is very intense when it comes to the "Ken Chuck E Derby"
When asking Redding where he would like to go for his birthday (I know, who asks a two-year old, anyway?), he obviously responded..."Chuck Cheese". So, we loaded up and headed to Chuck E Cheese for the second time in one month (I guess that is what we get for having both munchkins in the same month).
As always, fun times were had by all. Including the adults.

Unwrapping more birthday love...

MORE PRESENTS!!!
"Follow Me Thomas" from Aunt Laura and Uncle James. Pretty Neat!
Mater for his Radiator Springs GeoTrax
Thank you everyone for the wonderful presents.
The boys are officially spoiled.
Redding has not even had his birthday yet.

He Shoots, He Scores!

A little Lay-Up Action

AND THE CROWD GOES WILD!!! Leyton and his basketball goals are BFF.

They're two, they're four, they're six, they're eight, ...

He does read directionsYou know you are jealous His new ride
Happy as can be
Richard and Susan (Dennis' boss and his wife) purchased Leyton a fantastic birthday present, a light and sound Thomas trike. I have to say, it is pretty cool! It plays music, train noises, has a turn signal, and many other luxuries (this model did not come with the backup camera though). Too bad I am too big to ride it, but even if I could, I don't think Leyton would let me!

Things I don't want to forget...

Cake: Vanilla cupcakes with cream cheese frosting
Where: Chuck E Cheese, Mimi and Geeps house, Thomas the Train Live
Wishes:
Radiator Springs GeoTrax Stuff
Monster Truck
Misty Island Movie

Thomas the Train Live
Un-Wishes:
(Yep, he told me what he did not want)
Trains (he only has, oh, 25)
cars
Height: 41 inches
(he has grown 5 inches since his last birthday)
Weight: 36 pounds
Favorite words/Phrases: "Why", "Actually", "Because, that is the thing"

What he wants to be when he grows up: A Monster Truck Driver ("BerBer Truck" is the name of his future truck. It will be blue with yellow flames. With a blue horse within the flames. Nice imagination, huh?)

What he is doing: running (and running and running), running into things, talking (and talking and talking), being silly, loving his brother, eating, playing basketball (and golf and soccer), telling stories and be told stories, counting to 39, he knows all shapes (including hexagons, octagons, etc.) and colors, beginning to write, knows all his letter and is recognizing words, refers to anything that happened in the past as "last day" (remember last day when we went to the museum), Giving mommy hugs and kisses, fighting (and loving) Daddy, helping (especially Redding), demanding that Redding call him "sir", deciding whether he wants to be a righty or a lefty, growing up WAY too fast...

Ahh, love that boy.

Being Cheesy with Chuck

Leyton and Redding LOVE LOVE LOVE Chuck E Cheese! Naturally, Leyton wanted to go there for his birthday. Of course, his birthday fell on a Saturday so the place was PACKED!
I did manage to get a few pictures though...
At least Geep is smiling at the camera
Fast race car driver! Mommy and Redding One of Leyton's new favorite games. Between the football and the basketball, the boy can work up a sweat! Though, I am really not sure who has a better time at Chuck E Cheese...Leyton, Redding, or Dennis! Yep, Dennis is still a kid at heart! Or maybe he just wants to beat all the high scores and win all the jackpots! Either way, when Dennis wins the jackpot, Leyton thinks he is a rock star (rightfully so). It is a win for everyone (except the kid who got pushed out of the way so that Dennis could play ski ball ;)

Hat Boys

Leyton in his Thomas hat
Redding wearing his "E-E" hat

Like most of the male gender, our boys love to wear hats!

Cupcaking with the Birthday Boy

Making birthday cupcakes with Leyton!
You would never believe that Leyton is recovering
from a vicious stomach bug here!
Kids perk up so quickly! Funny Faces
Don't worry, there are no eggs in there!
Post-bath helpers and a silly Daddy!
Leyton has always been a good helper in the kitchen and he still likes to help, especially when it is something like cupcakes (and guacamole. He loves his guacamole).

A Cheery Face...Cheerios, that is!

Redding wanted nothing to do with Leyton's shenanigans! When winter blues are getting the best of you,
stick cheerios on your face!
Works for us!
