Gingerbread Time!

You can tell he has already broken into the icing.  That didn't take long!

Cheese!
(Poor little guy has carpet burn on his nose.
He went head first out of a bouncy castle!)

The finished product.
Funny thing though, the candy just keeps disappearing...

Giving Thanks

We had a different Thanksgiving this year.  Thanksgiving traditionally consisted of traveling, by many parties.  This year, we had to drive only 20 minutes to Mimi and Geeps house!  Fabulous.  While Granny Shipp, Granddaddy Shipp, Dana, Steve, and Taylor did not get to attend (we missed you guys), Laura and James made their way up.  Also in attendance were our neighbors Yogi, Gill, Lilly, and Irene (Yogi's Mom who was visiting from Holland).  We really enjoyed having them and giving them a real, American Thanksgiving!  Fun Times were had by all!

While I didn't take as many pictures as I would have liked (or as many as I thought),
I think you will see that we had a great time!

Brothers

Having two boys, two years apart, can be interesting.
There is never a dull moment in my house.
Nor is there a moment when my house is not a total disaster.
Some days, they fight.
ALL.  DAY.  LONG.

They jump off couches.  When they are not supposed to.
They also hide behind these same couches and eat Halloween candy.
And blame it on a ghost.

They give me their angry "Stripe" faces (from Gremlins) when I ask them not to jump off couches.

They practice their "Matrix" moves

But at the end of the day...they love each other.
And actually play really well together.
They are such good boys.

What more can you ask for?

The Many Faces of Redding

Redding is starting to like having his picture taken.
So, there we sit taking picture after picture so that he can see himself on the camera.
The camera is a great form of entertainment.  And always good for a laugh.

Falling for Fall!

The weather has been unbeatable lately.
Naturally, the boys wanted (me) to rake up the leaves and let them enjoy.
So, we put on our galoshes (not that they needed them) and we did just that!

Ta-Da!  I have mad driving skills.

And, I'm spent.

Trophies, trophies, and more trophies...

Leyton receiving his soccer trophy.
"I lost count of how many goals this player scored.  He is going to be a real superstar one day.
Leyton, come on up", Coach Paul.

Happiest kid on the planet.

He is our superstar already.
